Sunday Bricklane Art Market with YAOMART

Image

On Sunday I participated in an art stall in the Old Truman Brewery on Bricklane. It is a vibrant market, selling art, clothes, food and many other different, surprising things. Just down the road is Spittlefields Market, and on Sunday along Bricklane it is especially entertaining, this week with a tap dancer, a fresh Pina Colada seller and other eccentric street performers. Just a little walk down the road is Columbia Flower market, which is also held on Sunday. The stall was brought together by the collective Yaomart, which is organised by Nanae Kawahara. Another friend called Karin Soderquist joined, in addition to the designer, Sayuri Taga. More photos and documentation of Sunday can be found on Karin’s blog, as well as here, at Yaomart.
